NJ-ACDA Summer Honor Choirs
ABOUT
The NJ-ACDA High School Summer Honors Choir Festival is an amazing low cost opportunity for advanced choir students to perform with a large ensemble of other singers from around the state. This is a low pressure event, as there are no auditions, and only requires a two-day time commitment from you and your students. Patrick Hachey will be the clinician for the SATB HS Honors Choir. Amanda Hanzlik will be the clinician for the SSA 6th-8th grade choir. Choir students currently in 5th through 11th grade are eligible to apply (current seniors are not eligible). The goal of the NJACDA High School Honors Choir is to provide an out-of-school ensemble experience for your hardest working and most dedicated choir students who might not have had the opportunity to participate in an NJACDA or NJMEA honors ensemble during the school year. There will be varying ability levels, and our guest conductors have been working hard to choose music that will challenge everyone.
